Job Description: Office Facilities & Laboratories
This project was unique in the fact that it combines office facilities for staff and research technicians as well as a complete Human Metabolism Laboratory. The complexity of the systems required extensive coordination of the available space. This space management was the key to the success of the project and testified to the capability of our people to coordinate, communicate, and to schedule the tasks with minimum impact to the progress and completion of the project.
In addition to the normal systems that were installed to support the buildings environment, this facility required installation of systems that supported the research lab. This included a 30 micron Clean Room, Deionized water, acid waste, and lab gas distribution. A total of six separate piping systems composed the entire project requirement.
